Excellent place to watch shore birds late summer and snow geese early spring
Great piece of nature in the middle of no where, where you can walk around and see few people. If your a bird watcher the park has candian geese, sand cranes, pelicans and red winged black bird to name just a few.
Nice new facility with panoramic views of pond areas. Maps of local bird watching locations and times of year to watch different migratory birds are available. Best to call ahead to see which birds are available to see that day. Hard to notice off highway.
